nigel jdm fog lights wiring

what green wire is he specifically referring to in this video ?

I think he means the switch is powered via the ignition switch so when you turn your key, the switch can be enabled and when the switch is on it turns on the relay which in turn turns on the fog lights. As for the wire, I believe he means the green ignition wire

I popped it open and there is a cluster of green and multicolored wires....

There should be a connector right underneath the keyhole/lock cylinder bit with I think 8 wires? Or something like that, 8 or so thicker wires, there should be a wire that's mostly green with a thin orange stripe and that's the one you want to tap into

I purchased the same fog lights but spliced mine directly to the radio, took out the USB port since I use Bluetooth and the fog light switch fits perfectly and locks in place.
