A guy stood in front of my car and yelled at me because of my TRD exhaust. He also threatened me with his "buddy down the road will take care of you". Fucking hell.

Why would someone yell because of a TRD exhaust? I was going to assume because the exhaust was too noisy but TRD is not. Jealousy, maybe?

My 86 is officially a trailer queen! I received my MAXXD drop-and-load trailer today. My 86 is sort of on bags now... lol My first trip with it will be Wekfest Houston on October 1st.

Also received my TRD front bumper canards from @Kami Speed

Totally agree... I bought my TRD exhaust used from someone that claimed it was too loud and I have a theory:

If you read the install instructions closely, it states you should use a new front exhaust donut gasket which is NOT included. This leads me to believe people are installing without the new gasket (re-using the old one?) and are getting an exhaust leak. This is NOT a loud exhaust!!!

It is loud, IMO. Had I known how loud it was, I'd not have gotten it. Just past this guy's house is a pretty steep hill so I downshift to not lug going up it. My complaint is that the exhaust is loud anytime you are near 3000RPM and everyone thinks you are racing around when you are just driving normal.

Hmm... If you have access to ramps or a lift it might be worth while to check for an exhaust leak. A 2 foot length of heater hose held up to your ear is quite effective at localizing sound. I cannot imagine anyone complaining about my TRD exhaust in normal driving, nor do I have excessive noise at 3000 RPM.
