Cheap used Coilovers VS Eibach Sportline Spring
With all the other things planed I only have about $500 ish to improve the handling and ride height.
I care about AutoX Handling and Daily driving. I have a much more series RR car so I do not want to go and ruin the DD ability of this car. I would like to have the ability to fit RP01s 17x9 with wide 245s IE: RE-11A or g-Force Rival tires. I would appreciate any input from people who race their cars, and especially from those who race and DD their cars …. Thanks for input |

At that budget, get some decent springs like Eibach Pro kit or RCE Yellows with the OEM shocks/struts; about 7/8" lowering and a bit improved over the OEM springs. Or just use the money to save up for a better coilover. PS I have BNIB Eibach pro kit for sale if interested....

Maybe try looking for some used BC racing coils? They're only $900 brand new so you might even decide to save up a bit more for those.

Sportlines are too low for handling. I would do RCE Yellows (i'm biased, but we made what we wanted to improve handling first and foremost) and a good alignment. Spend the rest on entry fees or save for shocks.

Anyone recommend springs that will maintain all or most of the OEM ride height?

@SpeedR
I know you're asking about springs and coilovers but have you considered upgrading the bushings? It's an inexpensive way of improving handling, and you can get the car balanced and aligned before you go on the track or autox. It may take away some comfort, but if you don't mind some NVH, it's a great way to go. |

I personally already have sport lines sitting in my garage. Any idea what struts, top hats ect ect would make the car handle well? I like stock though I'd prefer just a little less over steer. Bushing ect will come in due time. I'm just looking for the 1-1.5 inch drop while still being viable on the track. So far I've done well at PIR all stock. I just don't want to work backwards!
Thanks in advance.
