AutoX Dilemma
So I got an ETA of 6/15 and a NYR SCCA event on 6/16. If it comes early then I'm ok but if not I won't be able to race it. I REALLY want to race but I'd imagine autocrossing a car with only 120-150 miles on it is a no-no (I live in NY bought the car in PA) Any suggestions/advice?

I'm kinda in the same boat. I'm supposed to get the car this week sometime. Maybe as late as Friday. I have a event on the 3rd by Indy. Its a club vs club kinda match kinda cool. Ill rack on a few hundred miles driving there but... I just don't see having a 1000 miles on it yet. If the car comes tomorrow. Then I will be doing all I can to get it broken in by then.

I think you will be fine...since its a varying RPM level...it 'should' help the break-in process... I have a personal opinion on Break-in..but will leave that out of this conversation..

Relax and wait a few weeks. Live waited this long, a bit more won't kill you.

Hoping the car comes anyday. I'm half tempered to take a day off work just to put some miles on it. It says no long drives but what's a long drive? 100 miles at once two hundred. I want to get in this car and put it in its paces.

Should I just play with the mph/gears and shift like crazy and vary speeds?
