Every time I go into work early, so I can leave early, I have to work overtime.

Aruaru! It doesn't bother me much because my employer is generous with the short days whenever possible.

Aruaru! My problem is remembering to take it. Every time I make myself a good lunch, I leave it at home on the dining room table.

Every time my car has a tire replaced, bent wheel fixed, and/or gets new suspension, it finds itself showing off right into deeper potholes that it (or I) didn't know about.

Every time I put something in a place for me to easily find it later, I forget where I put it.

Aruaru! It happens every time I work on my car. Damn 10, 12, 14 & 17mm sockets are so damn hard to find when I need it!

Welp, last Friday, late afternoon, I sat down at my computer and all the electronics on my desk were OFF. I checked my battery backup/power strip under my desk and discovered that "someone" (who hides under my desk when playing hide & seek with her older sisters) had turned OFF the unit.

No problem, I thought, I just turned it back on and everything fired up - except the modem .. which was getting power, but no workie.

Now, it's Friday evening (of course these things just happen on the weekend). I called the Comcast support number and got hold of this girl in India who spoke broken English and she tried to send a signal to the modem - no luck.

Then she set up an appointment for Monday. Also, she said she could put me on a wait list for Saturday IF I could respond to the text message she was going to send. Now, I was on the cell phone (because the land line was down because of the modem being out) I tried to respond to the text (and not lose contact with her) and got all frustrated.

So, I handed the phone to mrs humfrz to try to communicate with the girl from India. Well, that did not go well.

Now, I remember, back in the day, when you had to make a tech support call, especially on the weekends) and you would get a dim witted, blonde girl from the South (usually Georgia) who was no help at all - and I thought THAT was frustrating.

WHY does shit like this happen on the weekends!

Every time I decide I'm going to sleep in on Sunday morning my chickens decide they want treats at 5:45am and scream and peck at my sliding glass door until I get up.

Aruaru! Everytime you end a end tech support call without resolution, the tech ask if there is anything else they can do for you.

The days I need to get gas before work are the days I wake up late. I also wouldn't be caught dead getting home late to get gas the night before, either.
