One large or Two small?
Rn I’m running a PLM HFC front pipe with a Invidia N2. I don’t really mind how loud it is, but everyone else does. I definitely mind the drone. So I would like to get a resonated front pipe to mainly get rid of the drone and maybe quiet it down a little bit. I’ve looked a Invidias resonated front pipe that has one pretty large resonator and 1320s and a couple other brands smaller dual resonated front pipes. (I’m not interested in arguing about brands and or how much money You think I should spend. Just want my questions answered). Was wondering if anyone knows how the larger resonator stacks up against the smaller dual resonators? Would the single larger resonator take care of the drown? Thanks in advance for any helpful comments!

Check the thread on exhaust hangers in this sub forum. You can likely get the effect you're looking for, reduced drone, with just the hangers.

N2 is known to drone even with the stock front pipe. You may have to switch setups to 100% fix drone.

So anyone have experience with a dual resonated front pipe and a Invidia resonated front pipe? I’m close to just buying a jdl dual resonated.

Main reason I went with the n2 was the two big, I guess you would call them, cans in the back. My bumper is cut because it had a bash bar originally and I love the look of them. Any recommendation that has similar design? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

A dual resonated will reduce drone over a wider range of frequencies. A single resonator works well it just won't cover as large of a range. I am running a single resonator and it seems fine to me.
