Loud squealing noise at 80+km/h

I went to go for a drive today and noticed a loud squealing / screeching sound once I went over 80km/h. I pulled over to inspect the brakes because that was my first thought, the driver side (where the noise was coming from) has a decent amount of brown burn on the rear caliper compared to the passenger side which is clean. I'm not really sure, help would be awesome

Pictures? Video? Drawing?

You're asking us to help diagnose a sound that's been described through an internet connection and words. For all we know, it could be a wallabe stuck in your front bumper screaming for help!

Well, Untitled, welcome to our group -

I might suggest you inspect the rear brakes (including the emergency brake) to check for remaining pad/shoe thickness and to see if they look burnt.

OR, go with the humfrz method, which is to take the car into my local auto shop, explain what's going on and have them fix it.

If I were going to guess, I'd guess you have left rear caliper that is sticking.

I hope you get it sorted out.

Pay attention, there, soundman98, it couldn't be a wallaby stuck in the front bumper, because he said the sound is coming from the rear - the wallaby would have to be stuck under the rear of the car, most likely jammed up around the hot muffler - that's the reason it is screaming -
