it really should be called 'uncommon curtesy' at this point.

The note on the car is probably the most effective if you don't run into that person often but I like the shooting him option too.
This happened in my girlfriends apartment parking lot so much when I stayed over. Idiots would park taking up two spots, too close, anything you could do to be a DB parker.
I left a note that said "TOO CLOSE" just recently when I started getting fed up. She moved into my house now so all those morons can suck on a tailpipe.

A nice little note that explains the issue along with you will kill him will probably be more effective though.

They can't move their car off the line if they are dead though...

I'm really nerdy when parking... Always try to find spaces where I will only have one neighbour, and park my car as far away from the dividing line. If I find parking spots on a curve then I head for the ones on the curve as parking spot fan out.. more space both sides.. and if I don't like a particular spot then I will go park somewhere else, even if it means a longer walk..

Our doors are quite large and I find they need to be open fully to get out without kicking in the door speakers … again.

I’m one to try to find the end spot in a parking and be as close to a curb without generating curb rash. Had a few people ask if I’m trying to protect my doors, have to explain to them it works both ways as I open my door too and could be the dinger…

Is there some sticker with an image of a wide door opening to warn people to do distancing? A bit like the ones behind long vans warning for right turns.

Ill go elsewhere if I dont like the parking dynamics such as spots lined up on an incline or really small grids meant to pack lots of cars.

More of a Covid related statement than a good parking practice one.

Parking spaces used to be much wider. When I have to park the company pickup I now often find that I am right on the line on both sides. Nothing that can be done about it since they don't make spots for land yachts like they did until the late 70s. As cars became smaller so did the places to park them.

No kidding. Parking a 4 door truck often sucks. Spaces are smaller, and I think the rows are often closer together.

Until you can't get a parking space even though there are plenty of open ones. Spaces got smaller so they could have more of them so to take 50% right off the top is self defeating and won't last beyond Covid.

You're taking me far too seriously.

How am I supposed to goad strangers into terrible life choices with you hanging around like Jiminy Cricket?

I don't need anyone to goad me into terrible life choices. I'm doing a spectacular job all by myself.

I'm talking to you after all
