Outside. It replaces certain pipes in the intake or the intercooler piping

Seems like it could be much more effective if the fins extended inside too to help draw more heat from the center of the pipe as well as the edges...

Btw man I'm in the same boat as you. The controller isn't giving the signal the SC any longer, doesn't activate at all. I bet it's a fairly easy fix but it's not easy at all to take apart the multi-layered circuit boards inside the controller to figure out what's not working in it. My fuse inside is good as well, getting a good voltage from the batteries and everything.
I would pay to have it repaired
@BlOody_BoOger
Could I ship you my controller and you swap it into your setup to see if it works for you? I'm curious if it's something else in my setup

Well that totally sucks that your controller quit. First thing I would do is open it up and look for anything obvious like burned components or traces. Maybe put an ad on Craig's List looking for a local electronic engineer with some time on their hands.
Or
Remember the "Open Source Electric Supercharger" thread from way back when? I remember them talking about using a Minn Cota Trolling motor controller. https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...ta#post1335743
Maybe try to get in touch with neutron256.

I still have my battery array in place as well. I even replaced one of the batteries as I thought that was my problem kek.

I'm down to find a solution! I don't think my controller is "dead" per se
I still get the start up beeps of it powering on from ignition, still getting correct voltage, I really think it's something with the power actually being SENT to the supercharger itself. problem is those cables are at the BOTTOM of the controller

I think the play is to take apart the controller completely. I'm curious if there's something on the bottom that I can't see

My fuse is fine too. Reading my voltage correctly as well. It just does not activate when switch engages.

Have you checked these wires?
They're under the loom from the motor. Mine corroded before and caused me problems.

ROFL those wires look pretty bad, yeah my wires look super clean. No corrosion at all.

Also took apart my battery array recently and verified the copper bar is clean that connects the two dump batteries together
