Not really. Cold thermostat only suggests that the oil bypass. I have one of those too.

That's about the right size. My oil cooler is too big so bypass flow is enough to keep the engine too cold. Been thinking about the high-temp thermostat too. There used to be one for the mocal plate but I can't find it tonight.
I have the 72-row series 1. It'll keep the engine cool in the absolute harshest conditions. Would be perfect for endurance racing.
