I don't have this problem, but the TSB was useless to me. By the time it was published I was already out of the bumper to bumper warranty.

That's what I hate about mileage based warranties. There is nothing about the miles driven that has to do with a window seal.

OH I hear ya there! At 4000 +/- miles a month I chew up warranties like nothin'. I have found that most of the reputable dealers will honour my warranty if I have reported the issue within the time frame so have got in the habit of making sure that I tell a service writer about anything at all even if I haven't had a major issue. For example I had the famous "goose honk" when shifting one time but made sure I mentioned it and got it on record. Now since my dealer is very reputable if I have an issue once I am a reasonable period past my mileage they will still address it.

I was reversing into the farthest, corner parking spot in hopes of avoiding door dings etc only to damage my rear diffuser myself. There was some metal pieces resting on the back wall of my parking space that I failed to notice. As i was reversing my diffuser made contact with the huge metal piece. Now there is a ugly scratch on the diffuser. Totally my fault for not checking for debris. I'll post a picture tomorrow.

I'll look forward to some remedy to remove the scratch since it's a lease.

Did my first oil change today now that I've got a jack and stands. There was some swearing and a bit of a mess and I'm already looking for an excuse to get under it again - 10/10.

How did you pull that off at -22?
I would be afraid of it freezing solid on me!

That's why I make it a point to close the door (from the outside) by either pushing on the door handle or the trim just below the window. My guess is, that may have contributed to your situation.

As there are many adjustments to get the glass to fit properly I would strongly suggest have a dealer do it. There is a possibilty of fit issues after the repair, and a dealer gives you the most options just in case you have issues.

Good Luck!
