if that were truly the case; there's a better way, such as leaving a nice note on the windshield with your contact info to get some info about it

If I saw a group of teenagers about to do that to my car, you would have heard about me on the 7 o'clock news...

I would have put that up on the news by now.

Easy story for new reporters, specially with the awesome video you captured.

Lol give yourself more credit man. They knew you were about to rock their world if they didn't beat feet. Seriously, if they think it is cool to "act" like they are throwing their elbow into your car, then they better be prepared for an elbow to the damn face ...

Not all teenagers are that way, trust me, some of us are serious car buffs . Even when we have crappy cars we still respect fellow enthusiasts property. Me and my friends waited patiently outside of a starbucks simply to speak to the owner of a 86 fox body, if it were a different set of kids they would have been putting there hand prints all over it.

Ugh - I'm glad he couldn't get it off the car. I'm always concerned for this when I leave my car parked in lots at the mall/movies/etc. If I see some kids standing around, I'll remove my tow hook and put it in the car. I never bother my plate relocation kit, though.

Kinda makes ya think. Sorry if this has already been posted, but what model is your dashcam?
