Brake bias is just a pad change away. The STI rear calipers still have clear heat and pad swap advantages.

Yep. The STI rotors are both thicker and larger diameter than the BRZ ones.

what brake lines are you using?
for example stoptech steel braided lines for frs/brz work with the brembos?

I used a set of Goodridge SS brake lines meant for the BRZ, so I am sure you can get the Stoptechs to work as well. The 04 sti rotors will work in the front because they are drilled for 5x100, but not in the rear is my understanding.
