Apart from the added drag, you're completely wrong. If you have an explanation of how a tuned suspension, better brakes, lighter wheels, lighter drivetrain, light car, more rigid chassis, added downforce and quicker gearing makes your car slower then feel free.

The specs said around 2700lbs. So it lost about 50 net after having added the extra bits and keeping most of the interior and safety stuff. It still has places to lose weight and I imagine it still has a spare and tools in the trunk.

The whole point of the Griffon concept is keeping the reliability of the stock powerplant, beef up overall susspension, reduce weight as much as possible, lessen air drag, and faster than a $240k+ car like the Ferrari 458 Italia...

That original race concept is not likely faster than the italia on a real race track but it's probably more expensive. Besides, that car has little to do with the car this thread is about. It probably has more aero drag than a regular frs too.
