Personally disagree. The Supra's ass is sexyaf. The rear shot and rear 3/4's are gorgeous. Love it more than 99% of the cars out there of any stripe including most supercars. That C8 booty is the most tragic thing I've seen in ages. Looks like a Decepticon met medical malpractice. It should sue GM....

Yeah, the C8 does look a bit too busy, like it was designed by Hasbro for a Michael Bay movie.

Personally, particularly in white, I think it looks like an angry stormtrooper wearing a 1950's style nurses cap,

I can never unsee that now. Thanks!

I'd actually love mine in white.

I can't wait for the "I-got-the-new-Supra-until-I-take-delivery-of-my-new-C8" crowd start dumping them on used car lots for low $40K's next spring.

Yes! A clone trooper! The little duckling tail on the back of the Supra really looks bad - that really spoilt it for me.

The rear end of the Supra reminds me too much of the Prius Prime with those channels extending downwards on the sides:

Can skip it til 15:00. Kobayashi from MCR doesn’t like new Supra at all. He thinks it’s slow, doesn’t stop & doesn’t turn.

Doesn't like is putting it mildly, interesting.

If it wasn't for this whole lockdown thing I'd go drive the used one a dealer has a couple of miles from my home.

I mean, it can't really be that bad can it?

That's all up to everyone's opinion and their history of their cars.

Kobayashi and Smoky are legend in tuning world, but gotta keep in mind. They don't like stock cars. They think they're not powerful enough. This is why they make all these car into crazy high power cars. Kobayashi used to driving 500~800whp with 8 piston calipers w ceramic brake & full custom e-suspension Nismo GTR. Of course, stock Supra is slow and doesn't stop or doesn't turn. It's like comparing 86 w 1st gen Geo Metro.

I, myself enjoyed driving the new Supra. Is it perfect? Nah, far from it. It lack things, but doesn't mean it's a bad car. It can improve on a lot of things and hope to see it improve annually like Tada-san claimed.

So, in the end, until he gets in something that is probably fighting above a base C8 class stock car, the review would be the same? Pretty meaningless then if he can't review it in context, in my opinion.

I was making an assumption that he was implying it couldn't be made better than what it was, particularly since he was talking about it against a tuned car. Guess I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, which apparently wasn't deserved.
