I did. Maybe the loctite isn't doing its job. I used the blue one.

How long has that been applied? And does your bolt rubs onto the bottom input shaft?

Two things- when using Loctite, the threads have to be very clean. Alcohol works pretty good. One way is to put the alcohol on a thin rag, and push the rag into the thread valleys with your thumbnail as you turn the fastener. The female threads can't be cleaned that well, but at least use a q-tip with alcohol.

Also, if you use red Loctite, you won't be able to remove the fastener if you need to, unless you can get heat on it.

Guys with this loosening issue, does the inside shoulder of the adapter sit flush against the right shoulder of the bore, or does the upper collar force it to rest at an angle?

Put some permatex red threadlocker on the bolt today. Hopefully this time it won't come undone.

Bingo. I struggled like hell with one just like it. Finally gave up customizing the customization. It's an atrocious design relying on completely unrealistic goals for tolerance. Throw that POS in the trash or demand a refund. If you must have a short shifter, get the JDM actual lever.

...or the kartboy.

Sorry. The entire line of people allowing that thing to go to market should be fired.

If it comes undone after the threadlocker, I may just invest in the actual JDM shortshifter.
