It's better than leaving it bare. We hope to switch it to loom at some point but our main priority was getting this shipping. Thanks for the feedback.

Yea better than leaving it bare for sure. I might just find some 3:1 heat shrink or techflex sleeving over it in the future if I still care or if the electrical tape starts getting loose and gooey.

Also, if you want to improve the "fit and finish" some more, maybe find some kind of rubber plug that can fit over the pot adjustment for DRL brightness instead of just using electrical tape there as well lol.

I'll have to try it again. Maybe my fingers are just too fat and stubby.

installed mine today, those headlight connectors are annoying to disconnect but it was pretty accurate with the 5min estimate for time to install

I have the same problem. Emailed DD and they're sending out a new module.

@BRZtoni @Diode Dynamics

I just noticed today that I am having the same issue. When my stalk is set to "auto" none of my lights come on as DRL. Everything is off until it is dark enough for the sensor to flick on the lights. Then the normal DRL, headlamps, and boomerangs come on.

If I use the stalk to switch to parking lights (I think that's what it is called, it's one up just before headlamps) then the regular DRLs come on along with the boomerangs.

So quick question, what did we decide was the perfect headlight HID temp to match the DRLs?

EDIT: Looking back thru the thread, @KelvinBRZ what made you pick 5000k? Just by looking and guessing? And post up pics if you have the replacement bulb in already please!

5000k is what I would go with also. It's 'whiter' than your typical halogen bulb (4300k) without the blue-ish tint you get with 6000k bulbs.
