Where is the sub-floor storage compartment?

Was looking at the BRZ specs on the Canadian mobile site for Subaru. Wondering where this feature is and whether the FR-S has it too.
Initially thought its just where the spare is but that doesn't sound like a feature.

Under the trunk mat. There's the spare tire, and a bunch of thick foam with cutouts for the jack and tools. In theory you could remove them and store small object there??

I don't think so, as the foam supports the mat itself... Please correct me if I'm wrong though...

Yes, the foam supports the mat. I meant you could remove the jack and tools if you wanted to... (might as well pull the spare too at that point since it wouldn't do you any good without the tools!)

But technically, it is space under the trunk floor for storage (of tools).

That hardly sounds like an added value feature. The description sounds like an unused compartment somewhere.
