ECU Calibration ID issue..

So I recently just purchased the delicious tuning flexfuel kit along with an EcuTek setup, and I'm having some issues here getting the tune file to load..

ProECU is telling me that my ECU is a EU version with an ID of ZA1JA01G. This can't be correct because the car is US made and I don't know why it would be that way. However, my OpenFlash tablet is telling me that my CAL ID is ZA1JB01C which would be USDM, this should be correct. The issue here is ProECU will not accept the .bin file that I was given by Delicious, because its a USDM ID and for some reason the EcuTek is reading it as EU... after talking with Delicious they e-mailed me a ZA1JA01G E85 tune but it's for RON gas, and I explained once again I definitely don't reside in Europe lol..

I honestly have no clue how this happened, or how to fix it. I have a previous OpenFlash tune currently installed but I don't think that is the issue. I am going to use OpenFlash to go back to the original file and see if that somehow helps but I doubt it.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Edit::

Please disregard. If anyone else happens to run into this issue, I ended up flashing back to the original file using my OFT and from there ProECU was reading the CAL ID normally. I know, I'm an idiot for not knowing this lol >.<

No your not crazy

All oft 2012-2016 manual tunes are based on A01G rom but calid altered to look like your original rom in your case B01C so oft would load and flash.

If your going to change tune systems alaays flash back the original rom\tune from oft first, to unmarry oft, before you flash with ecutek or other tune system.

most ots tunes for oft are a01g based, of course you had to flash back to original with oft before work with ecutek

also because you HAVE to flash back to stock to "reset" the oft to make it usable to other people if you happen to sell the oft

EDIT: the good steve arrived before me
