I'm running 18x9 +30 with a 245/35/18. They fit Perfectly!

Just curious would 225/35/18 work? How much stretch would I be getting

Will it work, yes. Should you do it, no. There will be a noticeable amount of stretch. Stick to the 255/35 or 245/35

Yes, but I would suggest a 225/40/18 instead. It will be closer to OEM diameter, there are way more options, and it will be a bit less of a stretch than a 225/35. It will look stretched. My 245/35 is barely stretched imo.

Yes, you might need to lower the car a little more and add negative camber in the front. Idk if Fortune Autos come with camber plates or not if not then you can buy camber bolts for the front.

I have FA500s. They have camber plates. I am also using camber bolts. You will want -2 to - 3 front and -2 rear. You may also want rear LCA. My 18x9 +30 have the same poke (1.7mm different) as 18x9.5 +38. With the amount of negative camber I suggested, you will be flush.

I am looking to pickup some 17x8 Avid1 AV20 +35 wheels for my FRS. The tires on my car are still in good shape (the dealer i bought it from just put new ones on) and was considering just swapping them over to the new wheels. My two questions are

1) Will the 215/45 fit the 8 rim and not look stretched?

2) since the rim is wider and offset is different, will it clear without rubbing? Car is also lowered on TRD springs

1) Fits but will look stretched. I even consider the stock 215/45 to look stretched on the 7.5" Performance Pack rim.

I was originally looking at TSW Nurburgrings and Konig Dekagrams and were told these were reps... Is this true? I thought these companies had good reputations.

Which companies aren't considered to make reps but still have affordable options for daily use and occasional track use? Are Enkei RPF1's the only real option without spending $400+ per wheel?

Since we're on lock-down I had some time to polish up the SSRs... so, um, slightly delayed with the pics, but better late than never

Still needs a drop

I wouldn't call TSW or Konig wheels reps. Just because TSW likes limit the distribution channels through vendors like Discount Tire direct and others probably gets them a bad rep in some eyes. Konigs certainly aren't from my opinion and fitment industries say Konig and Enkei share a very similar history. If you like the particular wheel and it fits from either of these three companies, especially from their flow formed lines, I wouldn't have problem with them or tracking them. Just because you didn't spend 2-10k on a set of wheels doesn't mean they're not an original design or good wheels.

Now my 18x8.5 Avids are true reps. I'd be leery of hard track use and they might not survive a serious pot hole, but I've got 2-3k miles on em and they're just fine and still lighter than stock. So it depends what you are going to be using them for but just trying to avoid wheels because ooo they're replicas is probably not the best reason to choose or not choose. If they look nice in the stance you have most people wouldn't know that ooo those are HRE three piece... nice wheels! Yeah the set cost half as much or as much as the car I would say that from 700-1200 a set new is the price point where below that you see lower quality and replicas.. above that price point you can be the judge whether it's worth your needs and price. Just another opinion of course

I'm running 18x9.5 +35 wrapped with 245/35/18, with airlift 3p suspension. Will I have any clearance issues?
