Chris - Your car looked sensational from the pics I saw and it looks like it ended the weekend in 1 piece.
Hard to tell from results alone if a driver is happy with the weekend so how was it? |

I think out of the box it was pretty good from a handling point.. we were flat from the cutting to Skyline which can be a little daunting and we did have a few fidgety moments so played with the rear tow in to settle things and played with the springload and bump rebound a little harder on the front and softer on the rear.. it felt pretty good at that speed.. when you consider we are running $1250- BC Racing shocks at present until we can look at Murray Cootes stuff !! It was flat through the chase.. I couldn't get another bit out of it.. some very late braking helped us catch some of the others.. Anthony drove the last part of the enduro and he ducked under the Integra at Hell corner to pick another place by a bonnet !! and sideways We have not had the car on a dyno, it still has header cats and we ran a bog standard air cleaner.. We will find more HP ... I know the Pedders guys spent some time on the Dyno and found 7 RWKW so there is hope for us yet... our tyres are still good to go for practice and qual in round two at Eastern Creek in three weeks (20 April I think).. feel free to say hello.. We have updated the triplezeroracing.com web site with some pics .. we will load up the race video in the next few days .. probably a link to a youtube upload.. All in all it was a very good weekend ... except for the hit in the arse coming out of the dipper ... it will buff out ... the Mazda won't !!! |

cheers Chris. Glad you were pleased.
I wasnt actually there. I only saw the pics on facebook and the results on Natsoft. Would have liked to have been there though. What happened with the Mazda? Was that the MX5 that DNF'd? |

Nope, a bloody 626 who does not realise that your not supposed to hit people .. don't know why he did ?? Anyway we ended a lap up on him and the other 86 .. head down over the next few days to find some power for EC... 10 RWHP is Ok but I am searching for 20 within the rules ... we have another enduro at EC .. it's my home track so I hope that helps.. must have done 30,000 laps over the last 10 years as a V8 Race coach so I will have no driver excuses

Car was looking good out there Chris! I have over 3000 pics to go through from the weekend.
I went past your pits Sunday morning to say Gday but you guys werent around then I spent the rest of the day snapping away! Will send you a link of the photos once there up (give me until at least Wednesday). New paint scheme looks good out there too! One of the best looking cars on the circuit. Also when is the meet at EC? |

Hi Len, to be honest too scared to look coming into the chase but around 230 kph give or take.. we think with a better set up and a few mor HP and revs coming on we could get another 10 .. we will not know until next year..
I will put a Shift-i set of shift lights on the dash as the taco and speedo are just crap... I had trouble keeping on the 40 speed limit in pit lane.. |
