Yep, as Ed said, I drive up on 2 2x4 blocks first and then jack the car up.

I bought these while they where on sale, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1


Then I use a normal jack to get my hand over the oil pan and unscrew the drain bolt. Then I lower it again onto the ramps to drain the oil. I found that these ramps on a typical driveway slope makes the car almost perfectly level.

nope you will need 2x4s first. and you can buy it at harbor freight for like $100.
