My BRZ is now awesome because Delicious is awesome

First: I'm not anyhow affiliated with @DeliciousTuning. I'm just a customer blown away by their customer service.

My story:

I drive a '13 BRZ with Edelbrock and 60K miles. I recently added Delicious' flex fuel kit. The top-end power was there from the get-go, but I struggled with rough bottom-end. Part of the problem was a dirty MAF (do yourself a favor and clean your MAF - it can make a huge difference).

Zach patiently guided me through the problem solving process, was answering all my n00b questions, and sent me 12 (!) tune revisions before I concluded that the car is perfect. Even when tune was perfect and Zach saw it in logs, he still asked me if I had any additional concerns.

I now drive a "sleeper" BRZ with ~330 smooth hp. Stock-like smoothness at the bottom, but when I get on the throttle in 2nd anywhere in the rev range, the primacys chirp and struggle for grip. I should really put on some 245s, but I'm having too much fun powersliding around.

Cool! I think you would enjoy it even more with proper grip, even just some proper stock size tires.

Can you upload one of your last logs to www.datazap.com? Would be fun to see a log with the Edelbrock supercharger.

Don't kid yourself. You don't have a sleeper. Your car just goes as fast as it looks now. :P

Awesome story, I like Delicious a lot. I've done a few FI installs for locals and those that have gone to Delicious for tuning have had great results.

Sleeper....

Sleeper with that wheel and tire package? Looks totally stock.

It's easy enough to put stock wheels with some sticky rubber back on em to get to work. Gotta make the grip count in action!

Delicious/Zach are amazing. He's helped me out multiple times on my tune and doesn't rest until it's just right.

I've actually got a similar setup (edelbrock etc) only without the e85 -and I've been tempted to convert... Are you still on your stock clutch?

Stock clutch, holding up well so far! The car is a daily and hasn't seen a track since the install, so maybe that's what saving it.

I definitely recommend e85 (assuming you have a station nearby).
- engine just runs much smoother
- delta in power is large
- engine revs so much happier at higher revs, the little red blinking light comes up a lot more often

I too am a Delicious fan and will go to them as soon as my FI is installed

Nice to know the e85 works well as i already have a FF kit.
Will 245s fit onto the stock 17” rims?

245 width fits minimum 8" wheel width. Stock 7" rims can take maximum 225 width. These are manufacturer specifications. Of course you are free to try any size and show us

I get the same rough bottom end on my Harrop, especially when the engine is cold. I don't think mine is MAF tuned though, rather SD tuned. I wonder why this seems quite common to PD blowers but some tuners are able to avoid it....

It's MAF tuned. What do you mean by rough bottom end?
