Some great shots there @Simpleviet. Wow so you made it all the way to Shadow Cliffs but didn't have the cash to come in? Should always have some cash ready for emergencies you know.

The Celica guys were kind of obsessed with taking pictures and arranging everyone's cars by color, so I don't know if they ever got around to taking the cruise to Mines Rd. They were still hanging around at the park at about 4pm, so I decided to split and head home instead of waiting for them to start the drive. Only 1 FR-S came out to the MR2/Celica meet, he was friends with some of the Celica guys. I gave him an 86DRIVE card and hopefully he will join us on some meets and drives.

Short story. Count as a dricve and non-drive!

Mission Peak #2. Started 4AM she wasn't awake. Instead of driving home I drove up to skyline. I was thinking ghosts popping out as I drove up --" Reached Skyline watched and chilled there. Surprised it wasn't cold air. Drove all the way back to her place then did Mission Peak together. I have a video but some other time I'll share. Too exhausted lol. This one was brutal sun came out over the horizons and sucked us dry! Overall, we hiked the mountain a lot faster and took less breaks. Yay for working out.

I wanted to burn up some gas and log some hard miles on my car, so I did Pinehurst on my lunch hour.

Yeah that didn't work out too well for the most part. Right as I was about to drop in, a huge Cadillac with disabled plates that's burning oil goes in front of me. On the way back I did hit some of the technical turns pretty hard but then got stuck behind a SUV who would not pull off to let me and the Ducati behind me pass.

Oh well, can't win all! As a side note, I noticed in the 83 degree weather the car wasn't making quite as much power. I was longing for some of that cool night air.

Anyone ever try Pinehurst/Redwood at night?

I'm getting pretty jealous with all these people going on all these off-hour drives with all this "free time" or what ever that is... Plus, with my wife tick-tick-ticking away, I feel like I should get my jollies soon since I'm gonna be too preoccupied/tired to go on any drives. Anybody want to do Mt. Tam early Sat morning?

^what he said. I've had way to many close calls with wild life that I'm pretty chicken when it comes to driving at night now.
