Oh, LOL!

I have a lot of rules I follow to stay safe during those kinds of drives. That was maybe 8/10ths at best at times. But this car especially with these tires I'm finding I'm easily going way faster than ever before on this road and I'm not even pushing it.

1) Stay in your own lane ESPECIALLY on blind corners
2) Keep the VSC on (Sport Mode works best)
3) Don't enter corners hot (This is how most people wreck on back roads)
4) Don't rely on your brakes (No need to use your brakes as hard as you can, they will overheat and then get you in trouble, stay reasonable in straights before corners)
5) Watch for dirt/debris on the road (with this car, if you hit a patch of dirt it can catch you out, so be extra careful until you know the road conditions 100%)

Made it myself. There was a DIY thread about how to make it.

That would have been fun today.
I've been driving through Alice's from 92 down to boulder creek every other Monday for work. Anyone any to tag along? I usually leave around 10am from 92 or around Alice's at 10:15 when I go.

Decided to take the long way home today and sure glad I did. Went La Honda -> Stage Rd -> HWY 1, then stopped at Gorilla bbq for dinner.

Absolutely best drive I've been on, nobody at all on any of the roads, the sun was just starting to come out of the clouds and everything was green and looked amazing. Didn't really push it, kept a healthy but quick pace. I don't take La Honda often, but every time I do I'm delighted by the road conditions and banked turns.

Couldn't have asked for a better Friday drive home.

well I didn't wake up early enough to join you guys today @Simpleviet. sorry about that.
I'm gonna head to the Celica/MR2 meet at Shadow Cliffs park, after that around 2-3 the MR2/Celica guys are planning to do a cruise of Mines Rd to Mt. Hamilton. Depending on your inclinations you should either join us or steer clear away from that route this afternoon hahaha.

@Zen86 @PMok

It's okay.

Arrived at 7:40AM. I took a stroll around the parking lot breathing in some cold air and relaxing myself. At 8:17AM, I left for the drive. I drove towards the end of Mclaughlin and made a left on Yuena Buena. I drove straight pass the fire station and climbed up the hill full of luxurious homes. Rumor has it, these homes gives out large candy bars during Halloween. Full of mature trees on both sides and lushes puffy bushes along this straight road over hills and down towards San Felipe before Evergreen, I turned right on San Felipe and drove. Passing few bicyclist. The roads had some curves going left and right some were tight. No one in sight. I was alone and I stopped at few spots to take some pictures. A SUV came around the corner from behind. She slowed down and asked if I was okay. I replied, "I'm great thank you." She passed me. I saw some cows and horses grazing in the tall grass. I reached metcalf waved good bye to the nice lady in the SUV. On metcalf driving going down and up with some easy left and right curves. I reached the near the top of the hill where the dirt bike arena. Down the road covered in mud tracks and I slowed down passing the muddy road. Down all the way curving along side the mountain were pretty tight. I wanted to take a picture, however, I didn't want to cause trouble going down and be blind hit over the turns. Nice view when you're driving down across the freeway. You see green hills both left and right and a lake there. I want to drive there, but I don't think there's a road that goes there hahaha. Finally, reached the bottom of metcalf and thought about driving towards Livermore...Why not. I drove to Livermore spotted a red MR2 Spyder. I pulled a thumbs up and lead in front of it all the way to Shadow Cliffs park. Knowingly, I didn't bring cash so I left the park drove towards Mines RD to Telsa rd driving up the hill easing down the curves then U-turn at the park towards home. Overall, beautiful and fun.
