I made an insurance claim for the uninsured idiot in the jacked up truck who didn't bother to look before changing lanes.

"Blind spot, man."

Yeah, especially when you don't use the mirror.

I stuck an “eject” sticker on the unused button between the vice off and track buttons. Made me feel like a teenager

Go easy on it since I got the recall. Lol at 27k miles and it better be a entire head assembly and not some tech trying to rebuild it.

I know good master techs from the same college I went to and grew up with in high school. I dunno what I'm trying to say, but if I find out they are going to just replace valve springs I'll be pissed.

Anyways hello again everyone my car is out of warranty now and it's time for fun after I see what this recall does.

Not happy about having someone else pop the cherry on the engine. Although I wore the new off it after I found the field mice in the main wiring harness and ate a golf ball size hole in the air cleaner lol. I checked the air filter after a long trip that is mostly down hill with high winds. The gauge said I was getting 43mpg...

So down hill and a 45 mph wind at your back with no air filter you can get great mileage lol.

Especially if you were sitting in the back seat -

Installed these LED headlight bulbs:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

$64 for high and low beams. 3-4X brighter than the stock halogen and nice white light not that old school yellow tint. This seems so simple and cheap,
not sure why this isn't what people do instead of HID or swapping the whole headlight assembly out.

Cuz then you can't tell people how much you spent installing HIDs

They are just going to replace the bad valve springs. There is a thread discussing the recall in the issues/warrantys/recalls section.

I just put a set in my Accord. I really like them. I tried the high beams in the FRS first to get rid of the yellow DRL's but I didn't want to drive during the day with my high beams on so I out put them in the Honda. I am considering putting LED'S in the low beams now.

Yeah, that's the only issue which really isn't a problem. The high beams as DRL seemed extreme since they are so bright. I actually didn't even see what it would
look like though from another driver's perspective. I just disabled the DRL right after installing everything.
It's like driving around at night with your eyes open now, everything is so lit up. Now I am lighting up further up ahead on the road than people in front of
me with their halogens, it's great!

You can disable the DRLs by unplugging a "thingy" behind the bumper on the passenger side. High beams still work

They run at half power when operating as DRLs

Yea, or change the relay. I have considered it. Also the led's burn at full power in DRL mode so it's like driving around with your high beams on during the day.
