TSB #15-290-22 which details the missing wire from the harness.

The dealer checked out my car, confirmed the TSB issue, and ordered the correct harness to be installed when it comes.

My dealership is going to absolutely hate me.

Blinker issue part 3:

The blinkers will no longer operate normally. They only hyperblink.

New issue: The window scratches are back (from the last gen) Picture attached. Old ghosts return...

Glad I have my car; but this early adopter stuff is BS.

Being 1st does suck. I have a 2020 Outback Touring XT. Awesome car...but the little things that are revised a year or two later make you go "damnit, should have waited"

Thus I'm waiting for a performance version of the new gen BRZ

Sigh. Literally only 125 miles on the clock and my seat is starting to squeak. Anyone have a fix for this?

I'm curious if the hazard flashers hyperblink the same way the turn signals do.
I have a first gen and I don't know anyone with a '22 yet, but I've been following the developments.

I'm currently getting this fixed under warranty.

Part number 64631CC000VH is being replaced. See if this is your issue.

Was going to say, most of the squeaky subie seats (including my own) that I’ve known about, it was actually where the female end of the seat belt attaches to the floor. It comes back around this time of year and I dab a little Phil Wood grease down into the joint and it quiets down.

My wife had her Mazda3 seat frame replaced like 2 times back in the day and I wonder if it wasn’t the seatbelt all along, haha. I’ll diy simple stuff like that all day before I take my car to the dealer. Have had a lot of bad luck with techs doing damage.

Yeah, it's def the seat belt. I can't get it to do it every time like you can, but that's where it's coming from. Thanks for the part number!

easy solution is to put a paper towel between the belt latch and the seat. or sprinkle some talc powder there as well

Eh, I'd rather make the dealer fix it the right way. If my beater 2011 Elantra can be squeak free - Subaru better make my 22 BRZ squeak free.

This is the right way to think, especially when your dealer is competent enough to avoid breaking your engine cover off (and then totally deny having anything to do with it) on every single effing vehicle you bring to them.

Anyone else getting an annoying squeek from the left side bolster on the drivers seat?

During regular driving as my body moves back and forth over bumps and acceleration, the left bolster lets out these very annoying squeeks.

Gonna let the dealer know when I bring it in to have the mirror issue fixed.
