Removed the rear crash beam thinking it weighed a lot..... It didn't.

engine cover

I painted it with valspar white primer then sprayed it with satin finish so it didn't shine too much.

If you are asking me I just pulled the parts out, cleaned them, then used VHT wrinkle paint to paint them. I didn't use any primer.

Thumbs down

Technically I didn't do this to my car but I was on the freeway in the fast lane when a wheel and tire from the opposite direction of the freeway got loose and jumped the median and hit the front of my car. It happened very fast. I pulled to the shoulder and called the police department. While waiting for the police to arrive, a tow truck from the Freeway Service Patrol stopped with a wheel from a Mazda. He asked if it had hit my car and as we were speaking, they found the car it came from. The lady had continued driving about a mile down the road before discovering that she lost a wheel. I made a police report and an officer going the other direction had gotten the lady's information. Once my adrenaline subsided, I realized how lucky I am that it didn't smash through the windshield and my head. I had just picked up my license plates from the dealer 10 minutes before this for my 3 week old FR-S.
