Thanks, we are thinking of leasing it. This is the first time we have ever leased a car. Does anyone have any tips?

I was just pointing out that its not any harder to find 'immature racer bros' driving Acuras then it is to find them driving Scions (or any other brand for that reason). As far as dealership experiences go, I haven't been in an Acura dealership in a long time but I'd hope its nothing like going to a Scion or even a Subaru dealership based on their target market.

I know it's not a 370z, but I have a 350z. When I bought that new back in 2007, I got it for 27,000 otd. Sticker was 32,500

Only tip is that leasing rarely works out to be in one's favor despite the initially enticing numbers. I'm sure you've heard that before, but everyone's situation is different so it may actually work out for you if you did the math

Ya we dont have the money upfront and are planning on a kid in 3 years so the z would have to go. I think for us a lease makes sense.

Do the math. The last few cars my dad leased worked out very well for him, but only because he did the math.

I had a 528i. I paid ~450 a month WITH TAX in California. That was a screaming deal. Then I got a 550i CPO. After depreciation, I paid about 50% more per year. I also put more miles on each year, and it was a much higher-end car. Leasing a new vehicle instead of going CPO would have cost another several thousand, maybe 20 to 30% more, but I would have had a new car. See, BMW heavily subsidizes their leases, especially when clearing out models for a new generation. Other than with BMW, I would not seriously consider a lease unless it was for business reasons. Then the full cost of the lease could be written off without having to depreciate over many years.

Shrug. My dad leased several Lexus vehicles because a) it suited his style as he gets bored of cars within a few years; b) he doesn't drive much and never went over the mileage; c) due to clever finances it worked it in his favor AND got him money down on the next Lexus he wanted. The issue will always be residuals, especially when you lease in a state like MD.

IDK I have never leased a car and only straight purchased and its always worked out in our favor.

Wife never keeps a car 3+ years.

Bought an 08 Lincoln and off loaded it on a prius in 10. We had 1200 of equity in it.

Took that 10 prius put 59k miles on it and got rid of it in March. We still got 500 more than payoff on it.

Leases are not as good as some think. Only if your going to keep the mileage ~10k or less is it even worth it.

I say buy and drive it how you want and you can still get rid of it in 3 years without being upside down in it.

Every lease is different. You have to take in all the variables to see if leasing makes sense. I know when I bought my BRZ the lease options were not very good at all. Much better off buying.

Still wouldn't buy one. If I were in the market for a new sports sedan, I'd buy an E90 335i, 328i, or M3. If I wanted big power, I'd modify it. If I wanted more space, I'd get a 550i again.

That's a good entry price, but if you don't want the open rear diff you're looking at ~$34k.
