So do Rhino Ramps clear or not clear stock suspension?

So it seems like after reading 5+ threads about Rhino Ramps, there is a myriad of "opinions" weather the front lip will clear or not clear the ramp on stock suspension. I'm not sure how there is so many different answers coming from both sides since it is a simple "yes, it will clear" or "no, it won't clear" but there are people claiming both. Obviously you can make-shift some ramp extenders but I am still curious if it's possible to ride the twin's straight up on to Rhino Ramps w/o the use of ramp extenders.

Well Lup, you are likely going to get the same 50/50 mix of answers now so pick the side that sounds most realistic and run with that crowd.
Or get them and give it a try and if you have to add ramps extensions then go for it.

If I had to guess I'd say no. If you are clever you should be able to do some complex math and figure it out geometrically. Or just get race ramps to be safe. Or make extensions

I'm guessing that the stock FR-S would clear the 17 degree angle model.

(I was going to do the math ..... but I can't find my slide rule ....)

However, you might consider going to WM and buying a set and trying them out in the parking lot. If they don't work, take em back in ...... tell them they don't fit your car......

I use these for oil changes, pretty happy with them since they clear and they don't raise the car up too much. I wanted the oil pan to be relatively level so I could drain as much old oil as possible.

7 Perfect reviews with no issues good find! I just added it to my amazon save for later cart, thanks! Alot of the rhino stuff some people complain about collapsing and such

I'm also gonna add that jack stands are good insurance, as well as a floor jack, if you have ramps you won't need a low profile jack. It's good to have for other cars

I actually learned how to use a slide rule back in high school; they're actually pretty cool haha.
One of the other teachers could do calculations on it faster than other people doing the same calculations with a modern calculator.

If you're talking about the black plastic Rhino ramps from Walmart... then yes, they do clear.

Source of credibility: I have the ramps and I use them.

Did you upgrade your profile pictures to a HD version?

As for OP, Yeah they clear.... That's how the shop I goes to gets my car on their hoist. O.o

Be aware you can't jack on the pinch weld or it will collapse so the little cheap ones won't work. Once you're lowered the big ones won't fit under the bumper far enough to reach a jack point. I use a low pro to lift it enough for my big jack to reach

If you original pic resolution is too high, It will do that when u shrink it @ once.

<----look! I just change the camera angle of my profile picture!
