0.94L blower does seem a little small, but I assume we are talking less than 8psi in this application.

I used a 1.2L whipple on my 4AGZE, back in the day (on a mk1 mr2), and stock was also ~1.2L. This was on a 1.6L engine, but running around 14-16psi.

They are most likely using this blower: http://www.sprintex.com.au/sprintex/...gers/#tabs-0-1

At the max speed of 15000 (~2x engine speed), this SC could make around 1 bar (nearly 15psi) of boost, depending on the VE of the engine and some other factors. Seems like a good size to me.

My main question.. what about CARB? Any plans??

I hope you're using a kenne bell unit . I'm a big fan of the twin screw. I run a comptech unit in my other car. However, my laminova leaked and darn near blew my engine. How can you guys make sure the laminova doesn't leak? Also, why not use a traditional tube/fin type ic? They cost less too.

Totally subscribed for updates. Need msrp pls!

As a Californian, I'm interested in a good supercharger for the potential ease of removing it to smog every two years if it's not CARB legal. Not having to get under the car and mess with the exhaust would be awesome.

Any plans for a clutch system for improved cruise economy?

Tube and fin most likely would not fit in a low profile intake manifold it would require more space.

but i'm down to see what the manifold looks like and if they can keep weight to a minimum i may just be looking into this kit.

to me it all comes down to the price. If it's the same or less than AVO's I'll
be in big trouble!

Will water/meth be needed if you're running 91 pump gas with the intercooler?
