my mom cuts my hair, with a vacuum-operated flobee. but a while back, an old girlfriend insisted that i visit a 'real' barber for a specific cut she wanted. whatever.

but part of having your hair cut with a flobee is that the vacuum is running, so conversation isn't possible. the barber tried starting a few conversations, but not being used to talking to someone while getting my hair cut didn't pan out so well..

I presume when you say "old girlfriend", you mean 'your ex' or I'm wrong?

My barber doesn't speak much English and I don't speak any Korean, so we get along just fine -

It's good to start at the 'start'. We can therapute (made up word) your ramblings. This will make up the lose of your "squeezes" and that your Korean barber doesn't speak a word of American.
