They look cool, one mod I would do, if they didnt shorten the lifespan of your lamps

You can attach photos from imgur directly by right clicking, clicking open link in new tab on each photo, then copy past each link into the box that appears after clicking this:

So then we can all bask in the glory of this:

Personally I don't like the yellow look, this isn't some on road rally car, it's kind of unnecessary

Really not sure how I feel about this. They don't look bad on the stock FRS lights, but to me they don't look right on the JDM/EDM/Winjets.

How much have they affected light output and visibility?

Buddy of mine got a $110 ticket for yellow headlights on his pickup just 2 weeks ago. The OPP pulled him over on the 401 near Cambridge just because of the lights (it wasn't a trade off for a speeding ticket or anything). Don't remember the exact wording from it but was something like "altering or modifying equipment causing a reduction in effectiveness" or along that line at any rate.

I'm not surprised about that. The most I would consider doing here is putting yellow bulbs in for my DRL's (which I have done on the stock headlights), but then say goodbye to your high beams.

I'd guess that since it relates to safety, and lighting at the same time a ticket was bound to happen. Especially with lighting being the one thing in the OHTA that is very clearly defined.

Yeah I believe you can't have anything covering the lights or reducing the output of things. I think that's why tinting lights are illegal and how people get around it is painting the reflector since it isn't covering the light output.

Personally this mod isn't for me. Makes the car look like it's sick, like when you're having a coughing fit and eyes go red.

It is a very regional law and some places enforce it much more vigorously than others. Anybody planning to do it may want to check out their local requirements first. No sense in drawing unwanted attention just to have some coloured lights.

This mod looks great on fogs, not a fan of it on headlights though.
