I guess a bolt on is easy stuff, where as suspension may be a gray area (not hard but a bigger project than a header or intake), engine internal mods are not bolt ons.

Anyone able to help me out here..... i know its probably a stupid question.

If I plan on going Turbo down the line but want to install headers before then are there specific headers that are set up for the turbo install or will you need a new/go back to OEM header when I install the turbo? I know some turbo kits do not come with headers and just install on OEM parts, but if i have an aftermarket header already will the turbo still install fine?

I don't think any of the turbo setups work with any NA headers, aftermarket or stock. It would require some serious piping creativity. One way or another you're always replacing a minimum of one exhaust component. Otherwise where does the turbo go?

Ptuning's kit "utilizes the factory catted header as standard" quoted from their link on the turbo kit. Wondering if that means aftermarket headers would work as well, I'm currently deciding between jdl and tomei

Yes PTuning's kit will allow you to use any header including stock. WORKS is another one as both kits route after the header so you can pretty much use any NA model you want. But that's about it for active kits, any others will come with their own.

Headers that very unlikely to work with p tuning or works kits would be Nameless PLM or ACE header
