Bought my armrest from fteightysix. Got it very quicky and am very satisfied with the quality of the armrest. Took me a little while to install it with the template. If you get the chance definitely try to print it on a single page. I taped it all around my console to drill the first three 8mm holes. Then used the armrest as a guide to drill all of the other holes. A great addition to the car! Definitely changes the driving experience

Nylon grommets.
I had to remove my arm rest from my old BRZ and the nylon grommets threaded for the torque screws tore when pulling out. Does anyone know of any way to get these or replace them. Perhaps @fteightysix |

We can measure some - we might have a spare 1-2 pieces around here.

Installed mine last night. Makes for a MUCH more comfortable driving experience!
Some tips/warnings: 1. A drill cuts through your console like butter. Be careful. 2. The positioning is fickle; the template allows much flexibility in positioning. I'm happy with my driver's side; but the passenger's is too close to the edge and the gaps can be visible. 3. I used these bolts from Home Depot instead of the OEM stainless ones: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-...3248/204281931 Still, super-pleased with the armrest. |

Which arm rest is the "correct" one?
One of the FR-Ss I test drove at a dealership had a sliding center console armrest, like this one:
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P3FWH2G?*Version*=1&*entries*=0"]Amazon.com: Genuine Toyota (PT478-18130) Armrest, Center: Automotive[/ame] but FTeightysix's armrest looks like it covers the whole cupholder area and flips up instead of slides. Are they BOTH OEM parts from Toyota? Which one is the "right" one? Just curious.. thanks! Barry |

Both are oem. Sliding one is for North America. The one that opens is from Europe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
