Going back to my point from post 1491, the Supra will likely be used as a daily driver much more than the Vette, so although the Vette is well equipped for the money, we should probably consider the Supra just as equally well equipped, especially considering the power the car will be able to achieve at the same price as the Corvette.

Colin Dougherty had a speed shop called CDOC in downtown Charlottesville, 2005 or so. I'd never seen so many fishing shirts, Costas and black cards in my life, and I spent a decent amount of time terrorizing actual country clubs as a teen. If only I'd known what a RUF was at the time. I could only afford the Ringers gloves and an OMP suede steering wheel for my s13 They did let me climb in to this one time. Last edited by maslin; 08-12-2019 at 08:09 PM. |

And if your talking anywhere past the turbo, design is simple, with some basic math skill you can design a turbo back exhaust to suit your power and sound requirements Adding a brand name only adds cost not necessarily quality or performance 100% of the race cqrs or big Hp cars I know have either had their exhausts made at a exhaust shop or in their own garage Brand name pre-fabed exhausts are more a convenience thing Steel porn > https://www.racemufflers.com/Oval-Ex...ing-s/1832.htm Support you local businesses

The 2JZ was square (86x86). The B58 is under square (82x94). I know the redline is 7k in the B58 and less in the 2JZ, but the bottom of the 2JZ could handle much more when the head was built, so I wonder if there are plans to square off the engine to gain some rpms (assuming that could improve the top end by reducing piston speeds). The 2JZ has siamese bores. I can't tell if the B58 is also siamese. I don't know how much room there is for increasing bore. I'm curious if the smaller bore means the engine length is slightly shorter than the 2JZ. I like that they have an engine girdle too like the guy said to strengthen the block while reducing oil aeration and windage/drag on the crankshaft.

We just did not have the readily available brand name options that everybody has today. When did he lose the cigar and turn pink? Bloody modern political correctness!

They used that picture because "We also asked Bartosik which shifter he plans to use for the manual Supra and he said "I really like the one from the GR concept car," in reference to the hybrid Toyota GR HV Sports concept"
