Well, as you know, I have two of them. My hands sweat a lot, and on the right day, the leather on the wheel becomes a mushy, sticky yuk. My dad's truck isn't as bad, but starting to go. I want to get them professionally recovered. I figure, since they made a billion of these trucks, plus 16 years old, I could find a third cheap. That way I don't have down time with the trucks.

I'll look for one. Started raining before I left and my motivation got all soggy.

Finally got access to 4/5 vehicles (the boat and trailer is still snowed in a bit but that's fine). Too bad it's just going to snow again tomorrow... I did build an epic snow/ice wall though by piling it all up in the same spot LMAO. At least I let the Sun melt it down from like 8" to 3" though. It was a balmy 43 degrees today..

Freezer problem solved. Went with a Frigidaire 20cu. ft. upright guaranteed to work down to 0 degrees F. Plugged it in a Noon on Saturday, put stuff in it around 6pm. It was down to near freezing in the garage last night, and the freezer worked fine. No soft ice cream or bread.

As a bonus gained back a good bit of garage floor space as the new one fits between the garage door rails and the wall.

There it is, a fantastic end to wonderful 6 years of service. I can’t wait to explain to my future kids the reason behind the face-masks haha. It was an honor to serve and will forever be grateful for the experience.

By that time it will be like "gather around kids, let pa-pa explain why we wore masks, in Special Ops" -

Seriously, thank you for your service -
