I didn't know the GT86 was featured in Top Gear The Worst Car in the History of the World. Don't worry, Clarkson said it's one of the best cars he's driven in ages.

Nobody will care, unless they're ridiculously up tight. The baby isn't in mourning.

Actually, using a hub is an idea, but that depends on the situation. In my case, I can consolidate my printer, keyboard, and speaker ones with one hub. Then I have one extra at the back and leaving four at the front. However, as Ichi said, running EHDD over hub is not a good idea as it can be really slow. Luckily I only have two EHDDs so that is not an issue, and it is not like I am using the front USBs anyway.

Just to add: even using the USB plug directly from mono it is still slow transferring files over USB 2.0. Getting 255 gb of data over took about 5 or so hours. Or is my jig really that slow?

Transfer speed is affected by numerous factors, notably read speed of the source and write speed of the target, but also the capability of the USB port, the computer, the OS and so on, and yes, Want.FR-S it's entirely possible that your antivirus was bogging things down. That could be because it was scanning everything that was being copied, but also simply because it was hogging a lot of CPU cycles while going about its normal duties.
