I think it's a good start, but needs some work. Here are my thoughts and concerns:

It looks and sounds almost 100% stock from the outside. Perfect!
The left tip might be hanging a bit lower than the right, but I'm sure that could be easily fixed. My only question is, at what point will this become restrictive? |

I don't care how you have to manage the pipes to make this work. Please post up some videos of how it sounds with a full headerback exhaust with UEL and EL manifolds. If you can quiet down the UEL sound without any power restriction and rasp then you may have a winner. It looks like this muffler is designed to be used with the stock piping, this might be a no-go for some people since the stock midpipe necks down significantly to make that last bend.
Anyone looking for a quiet exhaust will compare your product to the invidia q300. What does your product offer over the q300? The main drawback to the q300 is that it's heavier than stock and perhaps too quiet for some. |

I suppose the cat is out of the bag.
We'll have some updated clips soon, as the primary purpose of this design is to meet our (rather exacting) goals. - Under 90dB from 30 ft, 30 degees offset from the rear, to the right of the car. - Unrestrictive to power - OE look for those that want to remain stealthy. - Not rattle like the OEM muffler when there are no cats. - Custom tips can be added upon request, or added by the client - Single and Dual outlets are available, but the core muffler design will not change. |

It really seems quiet. I like it as good to see more catback choices alongside Q300 to consider for those not wishing to annoy neighbours or cops . Even more so that it's still not too loud even with catless header.
Whatever with loudness levels, as there is little to be gained from catback powerwise and most are buying catbacks just for sound, it HAS to enhance sound tone enough for many to consider purchase. 500-1K$ for guesstimated +5(10 with stock?)whp and lighter weight has to provide more value. Like Ace header does I guess with this design there should be no issues of rear bumper parachuting aero-wise, right? Tips wise .. they maybe easily interchangeable and that's good.. but i don't like how currently inner pipe sticks in clear view of bigger tips. Results in very cheap looks, like as if tips were bought for cheap and put on as ricing afterthought. And don't know how about other drivers, in daily driving/parking i often go rearwards (over eg. curb) using fact that rear is higher. So i would prefer tips that are more in line with rear bumper cutouts. If/when someone will make future videos, imho it's worth to make direct comparison with stock and average aftermarket catback. Without "baseline" hard to evaluate real noise level. "unrestrictive to power" .. i guess this will show most gains with stock header (and hence if dynoing will be done should be done with stock, no?). Together with Ace header imho gains will be too small due gains by header alone nearing point of diminishing returns for bolton NA addons on these cars, hence catback+header may look worse power wise then it might have been if stacked against those of competitors, no? |

I like the idea of this muffler and to run the OEM 2014(JDM) tips. As long as the price is reasonable, I'm in. I just took off my Tomei 60s as it is a bit too loud for my taste, but the weight savings almost justifies the noise.

Single exit would be cool if it retains near stock sound level and no loss of low end torque in NA form. I just don't want highway drone. That's the big one for me 2nd to torque.

It sounds nice I but you should offer another version of the exhaust without the oem look. I mean personally if I wanted to keep the oem look I would have just removed 1 of the cats.

Also weight? Why would someone buy this over another "quiet" exhaust. invidia or perrin style?

I see potential for fatigue failure at the areas circled. If you send me a second prototype I'll be happy to do more evaluation.
