PASMAG Tuner Battlegrounds - FINAL 8!
Hey guys,
I realize this is the FRS side of the forum, but it's the most active. Here's the deal: PASMAG (performance auto and sound magazine) puts on a contest called Tuner Battlegrounds. Over the course of a bunch of weeks, cars are posted online and the owners gather votes. Every week, the leading car progresses in a bracket style elimination process. The final 2 have their cars shipped to SEMA to be put on display. Why I'm posting this? As of this morning, I'm now in the FINAL 8. That means 2 more elimination weeks and my car goes to SEMA. This is a huge deal and I'm hoping the BRZ/FRS community can help a guy out in getting his twin to SEMA. As it sits, there is only 1 other twin in the contest, but he will more than likely be eliminated by a 350Z that is getting triple the votes as anyone else. My current competitor has an Audi TT, and it's a nice car but I want to win so who cares lol Anyways, why I think I should go to SEMA: http://toptierimports.com/index.php?topic=6476.0 It's one of the most comprehensively modified twins out there (with an FA20). It has been owned since new by me, and every bolt has been turned by myself. It has a laundry list of rare and hard to get parts, and (I think anyways) it's been tastefully modified. I've also been an active member on this site for over 2 years, so it's not like I'm some chutch rolling in and blindly spamming. That I'm doing on facebook, not here lol Here's a couple of quick shots: [img] It's 305whp @ 13psi (now runs more boost and has meth injection) It's won Best in Show Subaru at every show I've put it in I've tracked it here locally in Winnipeg as well as at Brainered International Raceway I've drag raced it I've drifted it at an open drift event I've Auto-x'd it Although it's showy now, I still do have fun with it and drive it every day The decal/sponsor stack on the doors was done strictly for this competition. You need a "show" looking car to progress. Anyways, that's my case to get you to vote once per day! I don't believe in getting something for nothing, so I'll post new pictures every day as a reminder if you guys don't mind. Myself and my buddy that owns Top Tier imports also shot a bunch of footage for a video that we're going to put out if I hit Week 5 (final week) Here's the link: http://bit.ly/alexdbrz How to vote: Click the FACEBOOK icon at the top (yes I know it's shitty you need to use facebook credentials), then click the star at the top to cast your vote. Voting can be done once every 24 hours. DAILY recurring votes is what wins this contest. Thanks very much for any support you can offer, I appreciate it!

here's a shot of the bum. The trunk with molded spoiler is probably one of the nicest visual mods I did to the car

Made by a company called Aerojacket. As far as I know, it's just a couple of guys making stuff out of a small shop in CA. The parts they sell are designed by them in house.
This trunk was featured on the Speedhunters FRS challenge 2014 Winnier

Wait wait wait.......
You're telling me you have a BRZ that's both modified AND still retains the car's functionality?! I thought this was a lost art. Voted. |

I voted for you too! A couple times actually. I've been trying to keep up w/ the standings. My two favorites have been yours & that 500+hp brz. Keep up the great work your car is definitely a blue print of what I would like my car to look like one day.

I'll vote for you bro! Love the car, love the blacked out looks with the matte gunmetal enkeis.. Absolutely simple and gorgeous.
If its Adam Buemals audi then you definitely have him beat and should advance.... Way way way too much 17 year old ricer involved in that car. TT looks ridiculous slammed. BUT that 350 is going to be haard to beat. |
