Love the car. My only issue is the bumper not popping back on right after removal and the panels are flimsy so it gets dented up easily. I guess that's how they make it so light anyways, lol.

Agreed! Difficult to find a car quite like it within its price range...

Meet modern day emissions regs and fuel economy standards, while being financially viable to develop and manufacture as a one-off engine like the F20 was? I'm highly doubtful Honda could pull that off. Prove me wrong Honda!

How satisfied I am?
Well, I'm upset. I have a 6 months old car that looks beat up. While I enjoy driving it, Paint/Clearcoat is too thin and low quality and body sheet metal is way too thin. Dents way to easily and have paint chips all over. The drivers side looks horrible after I spun out on the track, didn't hit anything, just little rocks flying which chipped it horribly and even dented the sheetmetal. I've raced other cars that have been in way worse situations and only had to wipe it off, with this car is bondo and paint. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy it used once prices had gone down. |

I'm very satisfied with my car, and can say it was worth the long wait from all the anticipation over its production, to anguish over my inability to finance one the first year they were out, to the following year when I finally took delivery of my factory-ordered Galaxy Blue Silica Limited 6MT with just 4 miles on the odometer.
Of course being a sub-$30k car there are some gripes I have, but I'm comparing it to my other car which cost $86k when it was new. Of course the leather isn't going to be as nice, the cabin won't be as quiet, and the paint quality won't be the same. The BRZ is the best new sports car available for under $35k if you ask me. There are a lot of other nice options out there for other types of enthusiasts. For me, I don't want a WRX STi, Evo, or GTI even though they're excellent machines. I want a lightweight car with the engine in the front, drive wheels to the rear, manual shift in the middle, and sexy looks to complement its driving feel. I won't be replacing it anytime soon for anything that costs less than twice as much.
