What kind of Quotes are you getting for your BRZ??

My friend has ordered his BRZ and a couple of weeks after Subaru announced the prices for the US market, he got a quote from his dealership. His dealership quoted $31,265 which is $3K more than the MSRP + Destination and Delivery without any accessories... Is this what everybody is getting?? If I want to get my BRZ this year, is $3K (on the top of MSRP+D&D) the price I need to pay? Sorry if there is already a thread on this topic... and thanks in advance for any inputs!!

There are pricing threads. You can get the car for MSRP easily enough, just shop around.

No +3k is not normal. I'm getting mine at MSRP, no markup.

I won't be paying a markup as mine is at MSRP. My salesman called me today and promised they would work on the price with me because I don't pay MSRP, HOWEVER, I think they will just take it off my trade-in lol

Bertera Subaru of Hartford, CT. They are the 3rd largest Subaru dealership in New England. Subaru of Keene, NH is #1. I just got my VIN emailed to me today so my car is in the USA

No dude. All dealerships in our region fall under Subaru of New England. I went to a large dealership because I knew they were getting 36 BRZ this year. Hartford is 25minutes from me as I live near Springfield.

I placed my order on 4/30 but I am quite lucky to have chosen a large dealer unintentionally. I just figured since Hartford was the capital of Connecticut that may mean they see their BRZ sooner as all I knew at the time I was ready to make a deposit was that people were talking about how it would take months to receive the car waiting until late April/May to put down a deposit. Well they turned out to be #3 in New England. That is the only reason I have a VIN now. I would guess I'm in their first allocation around June 7th.

Keep pushing your dealership for a VON/VIN/Expected delivery date of your car. Then confirm this info with SoA.

I am getting mine for MSRP. I would never pay more than list. Shop around and tell them to stick it... to someone else. And spread the word about that dealer.

I'm paying MSRP also. $785 destination to New England, 6.25% MA sales tax, $125 for reg/new plates, $289 doc fee and I'm OTD at $30,461.50 for a 6MT Limited.

Quoted: $30,800 but the dealership is well know to have hidden fees. If they are not reduced/removed I walk

Ask what the fees are for. Question everything!
