I had the events backwards. The 9th will be the Tri State event at Toyota park while the 16th will be the SCCA at route 66.

Should I plan to meet up with you guys at Toyota park then? Or is it not an autocross event?

It is, but there's a chance my friend will be co-driving my car, so I won't have room.

If I happen to get to ride a long with some one that's awesome but I don't need to. Right now I'm just trying to learn about all the events going on and see whats all involved with doing them.

Just trying to see if Autocross type stuff would even be on my radar. I think I would much rather be tracking but obviously autocross happens more often and seems to be far cheaper. Maybe its a good solution to test things out before the more expensive track days.

That's my plan. All you need is a helmet and a car, any car really. I think to ride along you need to be registered as a driver, so either co-drive someone's car, or drive your own car, and jump in with them when they are racing.

There's a Drift Day this weekend at Road America... so, not this weekend.

Maybe next weekend?
Meet & cruise? 6/16? (sunday)
