Any experience with +42 offset?
I was unaware of using two camber bolts.. hmm.. with that I would probably bump the front up to -2 and -1.5 in the rear.
Okay, that explains a bit why you had so little camber in the rear.

+42 offset is okay but a bit on the high side and will limit the width of tires you can run unless you add spacers (which effectively changes offset).

I recently mounted a set of 18x9 +42 BremmerKraft wheels with 245/35R18 tires for a customer.
We had enough clearance to the inside strut to even add crash bolts but was still very tight and he has some light rubbing during autox. Should be fine for daily driving and everything translates to 17" the same with a 245/40R17 tire.

I have lower control arms. So 17x9 42 with 245 or 255 tires will work with a 1-2" drop and -1.5 F and -1 R camber?

Ok sweet. I'm looking at a set that they have 35 and 42.. 35 seems to poke too much unless you run a lot of camber which I 1. Don't have 2. Don't want. Looking at 17x9 42 with 245 or 255 tires and 1-2" drop and -1.5F camber and -1R camber.

Many people run x9 +35 and it does not poke much if at all, you can look at pics and decide for yourself. Also take account the camber settings, +35 with near stock(0) camber pokes a tiny bit if at all, but with enough camber, it does not. +42 will be cutting it close to the struts if you don't have coilovers, and you may need a spacer. It is a lot easier adding a spacer than it is trying to get rid of poke, as adding too much camber is not ideal. I personally like the look of +35 and that would be my choice.

Look at the meaty tire thread. Then look at the aggressive wheel thread. I would suggest 245/35-18.

Would 18x9.5 +38 wheels with 245/40/18 tires work on stock struts and Eibach Pro kit springs.
I know it'll poke a bit, but would the tires this size cause any rubbing on the spring perch or anything? Want to make sure before I make the purchase.

About to pull the trigger on some CCW Lm20's for my street set-up and would like some solid information from the experts on here. I'm lowered about 1.5" on ST Coils and thinking about going with 18x9.5 square set-up running 255/35/18. What offset will I want to get? I don't want to dial in a large amount of camber and have it look ridiculous. Should I be looking at a different size wheel or can this be done and look clean? I haven't seen many people with the CCW set-up.

Thanks.

On stock suspension, how will 245/35/18 look on 18x9.5+40 ?

Hi, I just recently bought wheels (MB Battles).

Size: 18 X 8, 30 offset. 5 X 114.3 lug pattern

I have conversion adapters 15mm to make them fit my 5 X 100.
so that would cancel it out to 15 offset.

I'm lowered 3 inches on BC Racing coilovers that have front adjustable camber plates. & I also have PBM rear lower control arms.

Front camber: -2.5 (Stock Wheel Setup)
Rear camber: -2.0 (Stock Wheel Setup)

I plan to either get tire sizes of: 225/35 or 235/35
I was wondering if I would have to add more camber to make these fit or possibly pull the fenders for more clearance? Also debating on raising the car 1" all around if it doesn't fit.

PICTURES FOR REFERENCE:

I need help with my tire set up on for the LRS 1.0. I want these rims and know they will fit but am not sure if the front will rub against the stock TRD suspension which is 1 inch lower than the stock FR-S. They are ADVID 1 - 18x9.5+38 offset. I want to buy 235/40/18 tires for it but am uncertain if I will run into problems with the TRD stock setup up front. Anyone have these wheels already installed? Or a wheel with the same dimensions? I don't want to resort to adding wheel spacers up front just to clear the suspension. I really need some one with the TRD springs installed to answer this question I guess.

?

If you have eibach springs and stock otherwise, and are going to 18x9.5 +38 you dont need to dry fit, that is exactly what i and others have run, it fits w no rubbing. The issues are they poke outside the fenders and they are close on the inside so you cannot really camber at all.

I was planning on putting new wheels and tires on soon.
i was looking at Avant Garde M310's 18X9 +30, TSW NURBURGRING 17X8 +35MM, or ENKEI RAIJIN 18X8 +48MM. I wanted to go with a 235/45 would there be any rubbing issues with these?? really wanted to make sure before i buy. i also plan on lowering 1inch.
Thanks

Appreciate thoughts on:

Front: 18x7 et35 with 225/40/18
Rear: 18x7.5 et35 with 235/40/18

TRD wheels with either Michelin PS2 or Pirelli P-Zero Rosso with stock suspension. Can't run the TRD recommended 215/40 up front due to local load rating compliance rules.
