@justatroll I'm using a trick that ppl have used in the past when it comes to data software analysis. I save my files in CSV format. I then run it through a converter to adapt it to AEMData's format for analysis. AEM doesn't have a way to import CSV data. However, I only really use AEMData if I want to get nice graphs and more in-depth analysis. I usually just use Dashware for most of my analysis because it integrates video so much easier than AEMData w/o loosing too much of the functionality. I created a Dashware template and gauge to read my data w/o too much setup from the user.
I was also playing around with expandability through other peripherals like your board or the TC-4 thermocouple unit. I've worked with the TC-4 before in FSAE so it shouldn't be too hard. Writing a driver for your board shouldn't be a problem either. I'm still waiting on the components to get this finally on a board then I need to port all the code over ^^. @Mazikowski Thanks for the vote of confidence ^^. This is also the heart of my canbus projects. I have a few things that I want to interface to this including my Raspberry Pi dashcam and my N7. The Pi dashcam needs to be upgraded with their new Sony sensory ^^.

@mabviper
Just in case you were interested, here is a screen shot of my java applet that extracts data from a CSV and displays it: When you run it it asks for the *.csv file of interest. It then searches it for all contiguous datsets, then displays the list of datasets for the user to choose. Once you choose a dataset, it opens these graphs. If one were to have any java experience it would be very easy to customize. |

Yup, there's brakes pressure in the bus which looks like in bar but I'm not sure if it's accurate since i have no way of installing a separate sensor to calibrate the readings. I'm almost sure it's in bar though.

@justatroll ah that's pretty cool. That applet would probably work with my csv data as well. I don't work too much with the front end so I ended up using available options.

After waiting almost 2 months for chips, I finally received both my GPS and wifi chips! I'm still waiting on the micro but if I get real impatient, I'll just express it from digikey... along with the other support components.
Also, I'm working on predictive lap timing as well. I still have to try that one out. ^^

I'm extremely impressed! Like I said on Saturday (I was the mechie who came by in the morning), you're incorporating all the features I've been dreaming of.
As if you didn't have enough offers already, I'd be happy to help test whenever you need it (or even design/build, if there's anything I can do). |

So I've been quiet for a while due to busy work schedule but I did have some time to update the data logger.
Enjoy! Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

I'm glad that you like it. I don't have an update on the fitment in the console just yet. I've been testing it for the past few weeks on track. There are some road blocks that are preventing me from installing it at this time. 1, the signals from the car, ie airbag on/off, haven't been completely tested yet. 2. The stock car pins were shifted slightly on my board so it's not plug and play. 3. I haven't gotten the wifi to work just yet so getting the data out is quite tedious (removing micro sd card from the back).
Having said that, I need to revise the board but hopefully will have a few prototypes up and running. Also, once I'm completely happy with it, it'll open source the software. For now, here's one of my sessions in CTMP DDT this past September. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6LQ6FVQGkM"]SPDA Sept 10 2016 - YouTube[/ame]
