LOL! oh man when i started to read that I was like "oh here we go...the Japanese wannabe purist" haha

I respect everyone's decision in regards to what they like. Some always prefer subs, some always prefer dubs while some like both or the opinion varies based on the anime.

But as customers and supporters of anime, we should have the option of choosing between the options or sub/dub on a DVD/Bluray purchase which Sentai has failed to do.

I'm sure it had something to do with production cost. Dub will cost MUCH more but if they don't think there is a big enough market they will just do it cheap and get what they can from the die hards

Specially this. If they fill it's not worth dubbing, they'll just release it as sub and call it good.

As for me, Japanese is my first language, so I don't have an issue

Really? Wonder why that is because AoT was much loved. At least, iirc.

And I do agree, I think there was too much to watch but that's just me. Haven't watched in a couple of weeks but RE:Zero really caught my attention along with a few others.

Do hope they renew Kabanari for a second season though, don't want to have to resort to the manga for more Mumei action.

That armpit action though...

Crap, that's not on Crunchyroll.

Also, I've said before that I prefer subs just because Japanese voice actors seem to have much more emotion in what they do. There's frustration and joy and sorrow and happiness. All the little noises and sounds they make just don't exist in dubs. I don't know a lick of Japanese aside from what I've picked up from watching anime. You don't have to learn another language just to enjoy the stuff.

Re:Zero is good for sure. There are few other series... but nothing really go crazy about this season.

Hm... I don't mind either one, but sometimes, it's better to watch in Japanese cuz sometimes, joke isn't made correctly (even in sub).

But there are few anime series they did great dubs. Martian Successor Nadesico & Fullmetal Panic Fumoffu were dubbed nicely. Specially Fumoffu epi 7 with rugby was hella funny. lmfao

I was thoroughly surprised at this anime. Didn't expect much after Konosuba but it has blown me away. Re:Zero and Kiznaiver are my two tops for this season of anime.

Yeah, I didn't know what to expect from it, but it grabbed me from the first episode and I binge it all in one sitting. It hides information very well and all these unanswered questions are a great way to keep a viewer interested. Is it only 12 episodes or will there be more?

I thoroughly enjoyed Konosuba and Re:Zero. I've started Kiznaiver, but I'm only 4 episodes in. I switched off to Re:Zero on a whim and I'm pretty happy I did. Kiznaiver is one I'm kind of on the fence about, but it's unique and that's always one of the best way to get my attention.

Oh man, it's been a long time since I've been excited about a show. I'll actually be waiting for the weekly episodes impatiently.
