So, I have one thing to say about my new, state of the art, refrigerator. The ice dispenser in the door is just like any other one I have ever had. It doesn't matter how hard you try, it will throw at least one ice cube where there is no chance it will ever go in your glass, and it ends up on the floor.

I'm sure there is an engineer somewhere that is so proud.

Atm tenant is living there. We do go through all the normal stuff, just contingent.

& yeah, we counter offer to $6k for EM. Not paying $20k on EM.

I suggest you get a bigger glass -

I have found that as I get older - I drop more things or spill more things, maybe, just maybe ........ -

What is earnest money?

This says it pretty well.

"Earnest money is put down before closing on a house to show you’re serious about purchasing. It’s also known as a good faith deposit.

When a buyer and seller enter into a purchase agreement, the seller takes the home off the market while the transaction moves through the entire process to closing. If the deal falls through, the seller has to relist the home and start all over again, which could result in a big financial hit.

Earnest money protects the seller if the buyer backs out. It's typically around 1% – 3% of the sale price and is held in an escrow account until the deal is complete. The exact amount depends on what’s customary in your market. If all goes smoothly, the earnest money is applied to the buyer’s down payment or closing costs.

If the deal falls through due to a failed home inspection or any other contingencies listed in the contract (we’ll look at those contingencies in a bit), the buyer gets their earnest money back. The practice of depositing earnest money can decrease the likelihood of a buyer placing offers for multiple homes, then walking away after the seller takes the home off the market."

At least yours works. The one in ours started making a large single ice cube due to not staying cold enough about 4 hours after the warranty ran out. If you clean it up, it works about 4 weeks before it does it again so we now just use the one in the freezer drawer.

This is apparently a very common issue with Samsung french door refrigerators, amongst about 100 other little things.

Somewhat aggressive phishing campaign I've been seeing over the past few days. I've been referring to it as Schrödinger's invoice.

Lol at least they used a ".com" address to send it. All the phishing-type emails I get are from "xyz.ru" masquerading as someone from my company. Like I almost want to play along with it but only reply in Russian to see how long it takes for them to figure it out.

Edit: To be clear, my company does not do business in Russia, which is why it's kind of ridiculous.

How to tell if a site is used for phishing, either by design or through compromise:

1) It ends in .xyz
2) It is registered via NameCheap
3) If you add /wp-admin to the end of the URL and a login prompt loads

Correction the "xyz" in my last post is a stand-in for the actual name, I shouldn't have included it in the quotes...

But yes.

I may or may not have gone off on a tangent anyway. I do that sometimes.
