Did the same. Also, time change did not fix the issue with my onboard GPS. It still shows the wrong time, and the wrong arrival time. Offset by 6 hours and 12 minutes.

Anyway, everything still looks good underneath.

Exciting, I know.
Did you change your cabin filter too? Just did mine. Better vent flow with a fresh clean one.

Nope. I changed it a few years back and the old one looked fine.

Can't really tell much of a difference vs. 2013 OEM. My datalogs show a slight increase in max MAF voltage and engine load (about 2%), but obviously not the most reliable indicators.

I think it sounds slightly better than the 2013 OEM though. Might be in my head but I feel like it's a little smoother and a little more aggressive at the top end. I wonder if Toyota/Subaru revised the runner lengths to be more EL.
Pretty much. The larger diameter would account for the sound change.

So it’s not just in my head! Thanks, that description matches exactly what I was feeling (and hearing) with the new header. It’s not a huge difference but definitely better. With the sound tube blocked off and with the 2017 header, the engine has a smoother feel down low with a bit of a scream at the top end.

Part of that would also be the more free flowing CAI.

Did the trans and diff oil on Friday night (that's right, I know how to party). Went with Motul for the diff and Redline for the trans. Diff seems a bit quieter? Trans for sure shifts faster when warm, but I didn't feel the improvement when cold that I was hoping for. It's fine for now, but I'll try something else in the trans next time.

ive noticed that motul doesnt like to be cold - at all. Havent tried redline but i noticed cold shifting got rougher? (less smooth) than before idk what was in it before though as that was my first change since having the car

Yeah, the stock stuff for SURE didn't like to be cold. I've used Redline MTL before and it was quite good in the cold, but the MT-90 is only so-so. Still takes some persuading to go into 1st and 2nd for the first few miles. Then it's quite nice, though. Hardly something to keep me up at night at this point, but we'll see how it does when we get a real cold snap in a month or so.

I just finished doing trans and diff my self. Went with amsoil MTF in the trans and amsoil extreme gear in the diff.

Trans feels smoother immediately. less crunchy/notchy going into gear. I'll be curious what it acts like when it's -20

Gave it a well deserved hand wash with this sudden stint of warm weather. Also took the winters off and threw the stock wheels back on. All the slidy fun.

Not all of these were done today, but over the last couple of months:

- swapped from DAMD leather to Prova Alcantara steering wheel
- installed Beatrush master cylinder brace
- installed TRD underbody braces

Same question as the brz thread, do that underbody braces do anything? Also how do you feel about the MC brace?
