I've had the kit on my dd for the past 8k miles. No regrets and I enjoy the car everytime I'm behind the wheel.

The regret is usually not doing it earlier.

My only regret was that I couldn’t/didn’t do it sooner.

I just noticed that I have a nice little dent in my inlet pipe. I have seen others mention clearance issues between this pipe and the rotrex unit on this kit.

What are some possible solutions for this that others have tried and can I order a replacement for just that one dented pipe?

Unclamp the hose clamp that holds that pipe to the final hose going into the throttle body. Pull the pipe out about 1/2 an inch. Re-clamp. Problem solved

Is C30 a better choice for me than C38 if I have no intention to upgrade the pulleys? However, I do have intention to use my tomei EL header with custom tune with the JRSC. Is it true that C30 has more power down low than C38? I just don’t want to spend the same amount of money ($100 difference or so) for a less capable/ older version supercharger.

Just get the C38. You won’t regret it.

Yeah, that’s what I’m leaning, don’t care if C30 suits me perfectly fine now, but with the C38 it’ll be nice to know the potentials there if I need it.

You should probably think of it this way: two motors make the same power, but one motor has half the displacement and half the number of cylinders than the latter. Which one will be more reliable?
An eight cylinder cranking 400 pounds at the flywheel will, generally, be working a lot less than a four cylinder making the same figures, under the same aspiration.

The C38 has plenty of potential (most of the time the unit is under-spun) and I don’t think anyone on this forum has even hit the ceiling with one.

They make the same power. The Dyno's are nearly identical. Just get the C38, so if for any reason, in the future you want to upgrade.
