I'd like to try an OFT E85 tune to see the difference. It would be perfect for whenever I take the car to the track.

We have literally one pump locally, about 45 minutes out at FT86motorsports.

Or I can buy 1000 liters in bulk.

It doesnít vary wildly from day to day itís more of a seasonal thing where the E content goes up in the summer and drops in the winter to assist with cold starts. There is a theoretical cut off where there is no additional power gain on a NA at 12.5 compression ratio and itís well bellow 85%.

The OTS E85 tune a quite conservative. The only dangerous thing without a flex sensor would be going back to E10 without reflashing. Iím lucky where I live to have E85 literally all over the city so I have no need to store it and burn through a tank in less than a week. If my car was only driven at random Iíd probable pass on ethanol.

Their b&m stores and their online store are different entities so no sales tax and free shipping.
Getting them installed on Labor Day weekend was a mistake. I had to wait 1 1/2 hours, but they did a good job, no scratched wheels, $84. for installation.
So far I like them, a lot quieter then the Bridgestone Turanza EL400s that came with the car. We will see how they are on wet pavement.
I have the regular Sport Comp2s. I'm happy with their wet performance so you should be fine with the A/S

So you can use 50% ethanol or 85% on the same tune safely? That don't sound right

If I recall the OTS tune is good for 60 to 90. Iíll have to double check. Iíve been running it for a little over ver a year without a flex sensor and randomly log and have literally never seen any knock or the IAM drop bellow 1.0.

I'd have to think it's running pretty rich then. Interesting

Here is a good thread talking about the OTS tune:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67310

The biggest downfall of not having flex is itís a pain to go between ethanol and petrol (especially with a Tactrix). As I said before this is not a problem in my city because itís at every corner.

Finally installed a catch can in my car. I've had this for years but I just couldn't find the right spot to mount it. I'm not 100% happy with the placement but it works for now.

You can really feel the extra shove in the top end.
